The CyanogenMod team today announced the release of the official CM13 nightlies based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow for a handful of devices.  Being the first official build of CyanogenMod 13 on Marshmallow, the ROM lacks most of the advanced features it is usually known for. However, it is just a matter of time before the team ports them to Marshmallow and introduces some new ones as well. For now, the CM team is rolling out official CM13 nightlies for only the following devices:

OnePlus One Nexus 7 (2012/13) LG G4 (H815) Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 LG G Pad 7.0 LG G3 (Verizon) Moto X (2014)

Don’t be disappointed if your device is not in the list above. The roster will expand to include more devices over the next few weeks. The team notes that if you are running a ‘SNAPSHOT’ build of CM12.1 on your device, it is recommended that you stick to it and not upgrade to CM13. This is because CM13 nightlies can be unstable right now, while the Snapshot build is extensively tested by the CyanogenMod team. If you are running an official CM12.1 nightly on your device, you can simply flash the CM13 nightly over it. However, make sure to flash updated Google apps package and other add-ons like Xposed for Marshmallow as well, if you are using them. If you are already running an unofficial build of CyanogenMod 13 on your device, the team recommends that you do not dirty flash the official build on top of it as it might lead to compatibility issues.
