Last year despite being priced half of what flagship phones cost, the OnePlus One managed to blow its competition apart in terms of the overall packaging and unboxing experience.

Usually, most consumers don’t care about the unboxing experience, but unboxing the OnePlus One was a joy in itself. The high quality charger and USB cable further helped the experience, which looked ravishingly hot in red and white. Now, pictures of the USB cable for the OnePlus 2 have leaked on the Internet. The cable has the same red and white theme as the OnePlus One had, though there is a USB Type-C port at one of its end. OnePlus had already confirmed earlier this week that the OnePlus 2 will be the first flagship to come with a USB Type-C port, so this should not really come as a surprise. Don’t worry about the cable lacking a traditional microUSB port at one end though. OnePlus has confirmed that the handset will ship with an adapter to make sure that early adopters of the technology don’t face compatibility issues. OnePlus is expected to be unveiled sometime later next month or in early August. The handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, and sport a price tag that will be higher than the OnePlus One.
