The OnePlus 3 is fitted with a 5.5-inch FHD Optic AMOLED display contained by the ultra thin bezels measuring up at just 0.75mm. The display is a 2.5D screen along with a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 4. Just incase, OnePlus will also be giving away free screen protectors with the OnePlus 3. OnePlus 3 is powered by the mighty Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.2GHz and coupled with 6GB of RAM. The bumped up RAM will certainly help the phone gain mileage in the specification race. On the imaging front the OnePlus 3 offers 16-Megapixel primary sensor with PDAF, OIS/EIS and 8-Megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Camera app is studded with other features including the Auto HDR Mode, HD Mode, Dynamic De-noise and Smile capture. OnePlus 3 offers 64GB of internal storage and doesn’t feature an expandable memory card slot. OnePlus 3 retains the physical front home button that also houses the fingerprint sensor. OnePlus seems to have learnt a rather expensive lesson by excluding NFC on the OnePlus 2 but they have decided to make amends by offering the same on the OnePlus 3. The device is backed up by a 3000mAh along with the proprietary DASH charging that promises to charge the device by 60-percent in 30 minutes. Oxygen OS has been work in progress for the OnePlus but nevertheless they have been doing a commendable job in skimming out the bloatware and adding up useful features, one by one. The new version of the Oxygen OS is based on Android 6.0.1 and heralds with the following features, Adaptive brightness, homescreen gesture controls, App permissions, Nightmode, File manager and their very own Music and Gallery app. OnePlus seems to have left no stones unturned when it comes to connectivity as the smartphone supports most of the FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE bands. The other set of features include Wi-Fi 802.11, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.2 and GLONASS GPS.
