OnePlus has offered a way for folks to try out pre-release software with the Open Beta program for quite some time now, but now the company is ready to let a select number of folks try out even earlier versions of software and features. OnePlus has officially announced a new Closed Beta stream as part of its testing process, and 100 lucky individuals will be able to try out the program if they are able to get into the program. OnePlus says the new program is about as close as you can get to being a developer, with the software being very advanced, and may even feature new elements of the software that are months ahead of a public launch — if they launch at all. It also involves signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to make sure those who get into the program keep what they know about the software and upcoming features a secret: As is par for the course, a beta of this sort is designed to be a work-in-progress and just another means for OnePlus to test out the features and software out there in the real world before they launch the software to the public at some point in the future.
