Oppo, that Chinese manufacturer that has gained impressive traction in the international smartphone market thanks to devices like the Find 5, has announced that it will unveil its next flagship phone, the Find 7, on March 19th, at an event in Beijing, China. The Find 7 will be among the first smartphones to feature a Quad HD (2560×1440) display – this was only a rumor at first, but Oppo confirmed the fact through a post on its Facebook account. With a 5.5-inch screen, that equates to a pixel density of 538 ppi – coupled with the brilliant image quality that we saw on the Find 5, it could make the Find 7’s display one of the best among the upcoming flagships from the competition. Other specs of the Find 7 are expected to include a Snapdragon 800 or 805 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 4.4 KitKat (hopefully with the option to install stock Android instead of Oppo’s Color UI.) It’s all anyone would expect from a premium smartphone in 2014, and we’ll be looking forward to getting more details on the Find 7 in the days to come.
